About Us

The Information Technology Centre of the Ministry of the Environment (KeMIT) is a professional and environment-friendly IT partner that guarantees contemporary, high-quality and user-friendly IT tools and services for the employees in the administrative area of the Ministry of the Environment, and e-services for the public.
KeMIT started out on 1 January 2013.

Information Security Department

The main function of the Information Security Department is providing the security of KeMIT’s IT services and the cyber environment it manages.

 

Infrastructure Department

The main functions of the Infrastructure Department are ensuring the operation and development of infrastructure and communications services necessary for providing IT services in an economically optimal manner and ensuring the existence and availability of environments necessary for this purpose. Infrastructure and communications services include communications and basic infrastructure services, central services, and technical and platform services necessary for providing IT services.

 

Service Department

The main functions of the Service Department are processing inquiries concerning services provided by the Centre, resolving incidents, providing workplace services, and managing service level agreements.

 

Services Department

The main functions of the Services Department are ensuring the high-quality operation and development of IT services, satisfaction with services, and economic optimality of services.

 

Technology Department

The main functions of the Technology Department include providing a comprehensive and optimal technological architecture for services, the technological timeliness and relevance of solutions, and the economic optimality of the entire service portfolio as a whole.

 

Legal and Administrative Department

The main functions of the Legal and Administrative Department are ensuring the proper operation of KeMIT’s management, financial accounting, personnel management, procurement, administration, and other administrative processes as well as legal services.
